Peter Israel - Profile page

Peter-Israel Peters is a modern day psalmist who has written over 150 songs. He became a born again Christian on December 6th 1987. February 1988 he went fully into ministry as a trainee worship leader under Dr. Bola Arowolo who presently resides and presides over International Worship commission 'Wave of Worship' in California, USA. Peter worked with the Rolls Ministry and international Worship commission, then based in Kaduna, Nigeria until 1991.

In January 1991 peter was invited by a senior friend, Rev Harmony Ibe, of blessed memory, to join an Elim mission/crusade team from the UK, led by Rev. Paul Epton of the Wirral Christian Centre. Peter fully joined Elim in Nigeria as the Pioneer worship/youth Pastor after the church plant in Bauchi, Northern Nigeria, February 1991. Has also served as Resident Pastor and Missions Director. He is presently the Field Superintendent of Elim Churches In Nigeria.

Born on the 27th July 1966 to nominal Christian's parents, he became a DJ as a result of his then lifestyle though his desire was to become a lawyer. He was miraculously delivered from excessive alcohol and marijuana after he received the Holy Ghost baptism in 1988.
